Overview
This is probably the oldest national park of Nepal. It was established in the year 1984 to preserve the natural surroundings and animals. It is located in the trans-Himalayan region of Nepal, which lies in the North West. The mountains surrounding the water body gives you scenic beauty to view and experience the magic of nature. Reaching there is possible through the air route and sometime of walk.
Itinerary
At 08:00 AM: Trek Preparation, gathering and preparing the backpack.
At 12:00 PM: Drive to Airport for your flight to Nepalgunj. After 40-45 min flying time, you will reach Nepalgunj.
At 01:00 PM: Drive to your hotel. Check-In at the hotel. In the evening, you can explore the surrounding areas of Nepalgunj city in the lowlands of Nepal
At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel. Prepare for the flight to Juphal.
At 08:30 AM: Fly to Juphal. It takes about 30 min. of flight time to reach Juphal from Nepalgunj Airport. Upon landing, you can explore the local. Tea shops explore the surrounding areas.
At 12:00 PM: Have your lunch in Suligad. Begin trekking towards Raktan.
At 05:00 PM: You will reach Raktan from Suligad where you will have an. Overnight stay.
At 07:00 AM: Breakfast at the hotel. Prepare to trek towards Rechi.
At 08:00 AM: Begin trekking to Rechi. It takes about 7 hours of trekking to reach Rechi from Raktan. On the way, you can enjoy beautiful waterfalls and juniper .forests and rivers alongside the trail.
At 12:30 PM: Have your lunch along the trail. Begin trekking towards Rechi.
At 05:00 PM: You will reach Rechi from Raktan where you will have an overnight stay. You can explore the surrounding and beautiful greenery around Raktan. There are several teahouses that offer accommodation facilities.
At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast at the hotel. Today, you will be trekking towards Ringmo.
At 08:00 AM: Begin trekking to Ringmo. It takes about 6 hours of trekking to reach. Ringmo from Rechi. During the trek, you can explore a wide range of flora and fauna. Beautiful waterfalls and vegetation are the major attractions of the Trek.
At 12:30 PM: Have your lunch along the trail. Then continue trekking towards the beautiful Ringmo village.
At 03:00 PM: You will reach Ringmo from Rechi after walking for about 6 hours. The total trek distance of the day is about 11 KM.
At 08:00 AM: Have your breakfast in the naturally rich Ringmo village.
At 09:00 AM: You will be exploring Phoksundo Lake and the surrounding areas on this day. Enjoy the natural scenery and explore the stupas around Phoksundo Lake.
At 12:30 PM: Have your lunch in Ringmo. Enjoy nature.
At 07:00 PM: Dinner and prepare for the trek tomorrow
At 07:00 AM: Breakfast at the teahouse. Prepare to trek towards Chhepka.
At 08:00 AM: You will begin trekking towards Chhepka village. Today, the trek will be mostly downhill and you can witness a wide range of vegetation, flora and fauna, wildlife and natural waterfalls along the way.
At 12:30 PM: Have your lunch along the trail. And continue trekking towards Chhepka.
At 05:00 PM: You will reach Chhepka after walking for about 19 KM from Ringmo .village. You can enjoy the village life and explore the culture of the locals .in the evening.
At 07:00 PM: Dinner and prepare for the trek tomorrow.
At 07:00 AM: Have your breakfast in Chhepka. Today is the last day of trekking in the Dolpa region. You will be trekking to Juphal today.
At 08:00 AM: Begin trekking towards Juphal. It is about 19 Km away from Chhepka. Since most of the trekking part is downhill, you can easily reach there from Chhepka.
At 12:30 PM: Have your lunch along the trail. And continue trekking towards Juphal.
At 03:00 PM: You will reach Juphal after walking for about 6 hours from Chhepka. Explore the surroundings in Juphal.
At 07:00 PM: Have your Dinner and prepare for the flight back tomorrow.
At 07:30 AM: After having breakfast in Juphal, you will fly to Nepalgunj by taking an early flight.
At 08:20 AM: After reaching Nepalgunj, you will prepare for a connecting flight that will take you back to Kathmandu.
At 11:30 AM: Have your lunch in Nepalgunj.
At 12:30 PM: Take a returning flight back to Kathmandu. It ends our trek and in the evening, you can depart to your home destination.
